Okay place to stay if you want the hotel to sleep and not spend time in it, nor use its facilities. Room is spacious and nice but the bathroom completely not functional. The water is either very hot or cold, if you take a shower the whole bathroom is wet - there is no curtains and the way the shower head is positions makes everything wet. The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff keeps them very clean. Some staff is unpleasant to talk to and they are not helpful in any way. There was one guy who seemed kind and sweet. We booked this hotel to have a gym and sauna in the hotel. Sauna is broken, gym is very small (2 machines and some weighs) with not working AC, pool out of service. Gym is supposed to open at 7am but we were told that because the pool is broken we cannot use it until 11am which is the middle of the day. They refused to open it and close the door after us because “others will see and they will want the same thing” (of course no one was there and it’s impossible to see the gym itself from that perspective). Only after long discussion they agreed to open the gym for us which we highly appreciated.

I stayed on the 7th floor, room 713. The hotel is placed in a great area close to lgbt nightlife in bangkok. Pros: - bed was very comfortable - Great location close to skytrain and train. Cons - poor facilities: could never use gym or swimming pool - noise airco - uncomfortable bathroom -fridge turns off when leaving the room Detailed explanation I booked specially for the swimming pool, which i could never use as it was in maintenance the whole time. The shower pressure is awesome but the showe itself was very uncomfortable to use as you had to shower sitting at the tube, as the curtain was too short and the showercap was flooding the whole bathroom, if you use it as a shower. The fridge was turned off everytime i leave the room, so I had to freeze water while I was sleeping to have it when I was back to the room. Finally, the bed was really comfortable, but the airco was so noisy the whole night and also either very cold or off. I tried setting temperature to 25 celcius and still was freezing in the morning.

+ great location + simple room: can get good sleep, clean, although its old age shows X - I asked for extra hand towels or face towels. They said: No other towel; they just give 2 bath towels per room. X - 2 pillows for 2 guests (1 pillow per adult). I asked for extra pillow. They said: THB 100 per pillow, PER NIGHT. X - front desk staff: does their minimum job of check-in & check-out. All other tasks like answering your questions -- they are disinterested, unhelpful. No welcome feel or greetings. the unfortunate: not their fault that water leaked at 2am, affecting several floors. Elevators were off. No phones. Had to walk down fire escape to get help at front desk. NO ONE at front desk. Later 1 staff showed up -- and after inspecting my soaked bathroom & room entry area, he said: just sleep & I will clean it in the morning (despite you can hear the leaking water flow from the ceiling). Only when I insisted very hard did he agree to move me to another room. The best part: their bellman Mr. TUWAE was absolutely helpful. A contrast to everyone else. I lived in BKK before for 19 years. I return for 4 nights, every 2 weeks. I only need a simple efficient room to sleep in. Will I stay here again? NO.
