The Heritage

This hotel is absolutely stunning!! We got a brilliant deal 150 for a one night stay in the superior room with breakfast included. I have 0 complaints. Rooms are so spacious and bathrooms are stunning with the separate bath and big shower. Grounds around the hotel is amazing. We had dinner in the bar which I cannot complain about . Cocktails are also really good! Staff are super friendly and very quick to take orders. Outdoor seating area in the bar area which was so nice during the gorgeous weather. Lovely touch to leave sun cream,wipes, sunglasses for guests to use while sitting outside . We used the pool and jacuzzi the day we arrived which was lovely . Love the seperate steam room and sauna in both men’s and women’s changing rooms . The following day we booked in to use the spa after we checked out. 25 euro per person . It is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the money. Changing rooms are kept so clean in the spa with massive powerful showers to use. Also Dyson hairdryers . We also got complimentary check out until 12.30 instead of 12. Breakfast was so nice with a good variety of food to choose from. Cannot wait to book here again. I will 100 per cent be back and will be staying longer next time.

We stayed for two nights which was nice clean and tidy the bar was chaotic a lot of young staff forgetting orders tables not being cleaned needs a bar manager to keep an eye on them on the other hand Blake's was brilliant delicious food and the staff were very helpful and friendly we booked two hot stone massages in the spa which were a disaster therapist's hadn't a clue how to do hot stone when you're paying €170 you expect a good massage more training need

The Heritage Spa for Maternity Pros: staff are lovely and very talented. The facilities are up to date and well maintained. Food before hand was delicious and service in great time. Cons: Although the Spa is capable of providing maternity massage and facial services, the facilities are not maternity friendly. Particularly in temperature controls. I found the treatment room was far too warm and unfortunately the lovely therapist was unable to assist in any way. Most spa’s would have a fan available for maternity use. It almost resulted in me skipping my treatment. Although some of the thermal suite is ‘safe’ most rooms are between 37-40 degrees. Even the relaxation room in there caused me to overheat. If you’re looking for a highly tranquil spa I would probably not recommend as it was rather noisy.
