Great location, impeccable rooms and impeccable customer service. We spent a few days hiking and enjoying water sports in the lake district. This location was a great base for us. The breakfast was delicious and I can't stop talking about the FREE CAKE every single day. What a great and unique touch to elevate the guest experience. I will definitely return to stay here next time I plan a Lake District holiday.
One of the easiest reviews I’ve done. Simply 10/10. Extremely welcoming. Great communication skills. The welcoming chocolate cake was totally unexpected and delicious! Extremely comfy bed. I WhatsApp’d Richard whilst we were out asking if they had any ice and immediately was told an ice bucket would be put in my room for when we returned. That’s exceptional service in my opinion. The breakfast couldn’t have been better. Perfectly cooked poached eggs and the Cumberland sausage was excellent Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
This place was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! No more large hotels for us! Richard could not do enough for us - extra touches including amazing cake of the day. But equally not too much hosting either. It was up to us. Very comfy bed with amazing duvet. Best of all - the breakfast. Words cannot say how wonderful it was. We shall definitely be back. They made everything from the booking to the stay stress free. Thank you!!
