The Hideaway

Wonderful place, the rose garden, the furniture, the natural swimming pool, the rain products, the wine, everything is selected carefully with so much love and thought. On the breakfast table the same: no products, that are not locally sourced or homemade. Best breakfast on the trip! Stephen is very eager to provide the best possible stay for the visitors. His recommendations turned out to be fantastic advice. Thanks a lot!

The place is beautiful, cozy and clean. The garden is an art piece, with thousands of flowers and other plants, combined with a beautiful natural pool. The breakfast is personally made by Stephen, the owner, and his wife. The food is delicious, starting from the marmalade, honey, sausage, eggs, bacon and bread! The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is also clean and with many facilities. It’s a pity that we arrived late for the check in, because we wanted to spend more time at the place. Worths the visit to Swellendam. Hopefully we’ll come back and stay again there.

Having a lovely stay at the Hideaway in Swellendam. Here it is bight and beautiful. The garden includes an array of roses, a lemon tree, and lots more. The rooms have exquisite décor and are allow maximum comfort. Includes many amenities like free Wi-Fi, pool access, and breakfast to name a few. This is one of the nicest resorts I've stayed at. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The Hideaway is an easy walk to other nearby Swellendam attractions and restaurants.
