Such a gem! 💎 I highly recommend this place. Took quite a few people there are there are beautiful gardens and a great hill walk to do around with plenty of parking. The food was really nice and the atmosphere is so very unique and British, which I love. The service was excellent, with our waiter being very accommodating. There is plenty of outdoor eating space as well (though never tried due to weather). You'll love it!

We had been gifted a voucher for Afternoon Tea, so a real treat. Great surroundings, we were seated with a view over the garden - a shame it was a rainy afternoon. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Unlimited tea and coffee for the duration of our visit with a delicious afternoon tea. Would highly recommend as a gift or a treat for yourself.

I visited The Highdown for a lovely afternoon tea with my husband. This was my fourth time having afternoon tea there, which I think speaks volumes about my experience there. The views are beautiful, and if you appreciate history and art, you’ll be delighted by the ambiance and decor that showcase these elements so well. I absolutely enjoy going there! It’s also a great place to take a walk and enjoy some refreshments afterward.
