The Hiramatsu Kyoto

One of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff are super friendly offering a highly personalized experience. Rooms are well put together offering a mix of Japanese architecture and modern amenities. The hotel also has beautiful zen gardens. We were traveling with a baby and they provided a baby robe, baby toothbrush and other baby amenities. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a boutique experience.

I stayed at three hotels during my trip to Kyoto: two four-star hotels and one five-star hotel. Without a doubt, this hotel was my favorite. It offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city, making it perfect for a city walk. You can explore hidden culinary gems and small shops in the nearby residential areas. Despite its central location, the surroundings are quiet at night, ensuring a good night's rest. The hotel's service and room design pay great attention to detail and aesthetics. During my stay, it rained for a few days, and this hotel was the only one among the three that proactively provided umbrellas for guests at the entrance. This small gesture made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kyoto.

The hotel restaurant served some of the most delicious Italian-style breakfast I have ever had. The fresh pastries and perfectly brewed coffee were the perfect start to my day. The chef also prepared some mouth-watering Italian-inspired dishes that were simply amazing. I could tell that the food was made with care and high-quality ingredients. The hotel staff was also exceptional. From the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping staff, everyone was kind, helpful, and attentive. They were always available to assist with any request or question that I had. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. The room had a relaxing atmosphere that allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, my experience at this hotel was fantastic. The food was amazing, the staff was absolutely kind and the accommodations were comfortable and inviting. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay while traveling.
