The Hoban Hotel Killkenny

Great hotel. Staff were amazing. Very friendly, professional and helpful. Hotel was lovely. Very smart, new and modern. Rooms were equally the same to a high standard but our only gripe was no air con which made the night uncomfortable even with the window open. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Plenty of parking and location to nearby shops. Would happily stay here again on a future visit to Ireland.

Booked a room for 2 nights in another hotel. €499 for a little box, so I contacted Hoban at very short notice. So accommodating, staff where excellent. Very helpful with places to go etc. A tiny bit outside the town, but a short taxi fare was worth it. Only downside was no live music or we would have stayed there very contently each night. 9/10 forsure. Staff made the stay. Would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Room was very nice but no bottled water, face cloth, shampoo or air conditioner. Also breakfast buffet didn't offer much in the way of buns, croissants or breakfast pastries. It was still a very nice hotel, but with a few little upgrades it could be excellent. Dining room food was very good. Servings were large.
