The Homeboat Company Albufeira

We had an amazing stay in the Superior Homeboat at the Marina de Albufeira. The amenities were excellent and everything was exactly as described. The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless, and the view and ambiance was perfect in every way. Our host, Vanda, was equally amazing. She greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our house boat. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and made us feel at home from the beginning, not to mention extremity responsive to some questions we had. We couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you, Vanda! We look forward to our next stay!

I’m not a boat captain — though I wouldn’t mind being one someday 🙂 — but this stay gave me a taste of that life, without the risks of the open sea. We stayed at Home Boats in the Marina of Albufeira and absolutely loved it. The boat was clean, cosy, and surprisingly spacious. Everything was well thought out, and the whole experience was relaxing and unique — one we’d definitely repeat. The simple but delightful breakfast delivered on board was a perfect start to the day. A special thanks to Vanda, who welcomed us with a smile and made the check-in smooth and friendly. Great service, great vibe. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something different and memorable!

This adorable houseboat was our favorite stay while in Portugal. Our 9 year old had the best time. It was clean, comfortable beds and linens, and a cute breakfast on the front patio in the morning complete with checkered tablecloth and basket full of goodies. Surprisingly good water pressure in our little vessel. Top patio is perfect place to read or have glass of wine looking at lights of marina at night. The location is about 25 minutes walk to downtown. There are plenty of places to eat or shop for food at the marina if you don’t want to go elsewhere. Would absolutely recommend this unique experience.
