The Horatio Suites & Motel

The Horatio has nailed it with the perfect balance of room-size, comfort, amenities, and location at a very competitive price. Rooms are generously sized and super clean. This is my "go-to" whenever I'm staying in Mudgee.

Had stayed here maybe 20 years ago for work and I remembered it for being great value, modern, great staff and quiet. 20 years on, still fantastic value, rooms are nice, clean, modern, beds are comfortable, air con works well, nice big clean bathroom, usb charging ports in the power outlets. Usually a stickler for not forgetting anything, this particular trip I managed to forget an item and they had called me within 5 minutes of checking out and met me at reception to handover so I didn’t even have to get out of the car. Service from the staff from booking to waving goodbye was fantastic. Will be back again for sure!

The Room and location was great however the receptionist was horribly rude when I inquired if she could book a taxi for us. She said ‘don’t you have a phone’? In a very sarcastic and condescending tone. She then glared at me in shock that I had the audacity to inquire about a taxi being booked. So unprofessional and so unnecessary to be so sarcastic to someone who is paying to stay there. All she had to say was no sorry we don’t. That would have been a lot nicer than to be given attitude. I was in pure shock.
