The Hotel At Auburn University

Beautiful Comfortable hotel with excellent service. Dog friendly. But dog owners should be warned that I found it too hot to have your canine companion dine or have drinks with you any where on college street. At 9 pm (July) the concrete patio a the hotel bar was too warm to keep my hand on the ground for more than a minute. I had to get takeout. A hostess graciously procured a cocktail for me so I didn’t have to wait for room service. I specifically chose this hotel where I could walk out and dine out with my pup on our journey home. There are several restaurants with outdoor seating but none have adequate shade or fans for summertime.

Excellent! From the moment you pull up to the hotel and is greeted by Valet, to entering the gorgeous Lobby then up to your suite, the staff, the facilities, the whole experience was simply excellent. Room was chic, immaculately cleaned and not noisy. My floor had also had a free snack bar for all guests on that floor, which was a really nice touch. I checked in mid afternoon and left to attend an event. When I came back, turndown service team came in and organized my room and prepared the bed. What a delightful surprise! I had breakfast in the Arricia restaurant and the omelette was scrumptious. Again, friendly efficient and timely service here too. Definitely go here instead. They take time to make your stay perfect! I can’t wait to get back.

This is a wonderful place. Rooms are clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. The gym is nicely equipped. We enjoyed good food in the Italian restaurant. With the University around you always feel safe to stroll around Campus.
