My wife and I stayed at this wonderfully located gem of an hotel back in May. The staff were so awesome and attentive. The food reasonably priced and the cocktails well made. In all my years travelling, this hotel had the best pillows one could ask for. We spent many hours sitting in our jacuzzi soaking in the sun and enjoying the stunning views, definitely one of our best holidays. We had so much fun that we had to come back again and booked a weekend in October. Truly a hidden gem.
The Houben – Koh Lanta A beautiful, peaceful escape — perfect for adults looking to relax. 🌿 The resort is quiet, stylish, and surrounded by nature with breathtaking views. We were warmly welcomed, and the manager kindly upgraded us to a lovely villa with a stunning sea view. 🌊❤️ Truly a hidden gem on the island. Can't wait to come back!
What an amazing hotel! My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Every member of staff here was excellent, they were polite, showed an interest and always went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotel itself is lovely too. It’s very clean, with nicely presented rooms. They were comfortable and each had plenty of space. Every room had its own outside area which was nice, and the room stayed nice and cool even without the air con on which made a change from some previous hotels we’ve stayed in. The pool area was often very quiet which made it feel more private and it has an amazing view (perfect for sunsets). The restaurant was fantastic: every dinner we had was really tasty and well presented. The included breakfast was also really good, with lots of options. We liked how they limit waste by making the bulk of the food to-order. They had a delicious selection of fruit and little cakes to choose from while you waited for your order to arrive too. There is a small town nearby as well as a beach. If you would like to go further afield or book an activity, the team in reception are very helpful and do their best to accommodate. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend The Houben to anyone travelling to this part of the world.
