The Hoxton Lloyd Amsterdam

Our family of 4 with 2 young children had an excellent 2-night stay here! The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! They were flexible re: early check in and late checkout (part of our credit card benefits, but not always available at all hotels we’ve stayed at), which was so appreciated, especially after an overnight flight. The food at the restaurant was great. The hotel was very kid friendly. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas but was still a great location for exploring the city, since it was right next to a tram stop for trams 7 and 26. Would definitely recommend to others!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The hotel is well located, clean, comfortable, trendy. What makes this place the best is the staff. From check in, to bar, to breakfast and housekeeping; they truly love what they do and it shows. The outdoor area is great for having a glass of wine of wine while chatting with friends. The bar is very inviting and spacious. Rooms are well thought out in every detail. I’m certainly coming back.

American staying here and of July with children - this was a real treat. The "biggy bunk up" room was furnished so nicely, my daughter said it was the most comfy sheets ever. Location is great, direct 26 train from Centraal that's like 3 stops away with a less than two block walk. We used the 7 tram every day, since all the sights were a short walk away from it! Very quiet neighborhood with a grocery store across the street that was great for loading up on snacks and grabbing breakfast. There's also a mini playground directly in front with a really fun kids swing facing the canal.
