Rooms are a bit small and location is downhill from nearest train station. Some nights, it was loud at night in the next rooms. I didn’t have a working phone so I couldn’t call front desk when it happened. I do love the included breakfast, they change up the proteins so it was great for me as I stayed for a week. Friendly front desk.
I had an terrible experience at this property. The air conditioning in the room was completely ineffective — it ran for over 3 hours at 21°C, yet the room temperature remained at a sweltering 28.5°C (I have pictures and videos as evidence). Instead of resolving the issue, the hotel handed us a couple of small fans, which did nothing to improve the situation. We spent the night wide awake and drenched in sweat. When I visited the reception and asked them to either fix the issue or refund us so we could stay elsewhere, they arrogantly and stubbornly refused to do either. Their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. What made things worse was Booking.com's response. Despite having clear evidence, they closed my complaint without even giving me a chance to submit it. They blindly accepted the property’s version of events and denied my claim without any independent verification. This experience was unacceptable — poor facilities, rude staff, and completely unhelpful support from Booking.com. I will not be using this platform again and strongly caution others to think twice before booking here.
I really expected better. The cleaning service was poor!! They only tidied the bed and didn’t even empty the bathroom bin, which was full of hygiene pads. Every day, housekeeping threw away the slippers but never replaced them, so we had to call reception constantly to ask for new ones. If they remove them, why not restock? One of the receptionists (Mr. B) was incredibly rude. I asked him to check if our medical ice packs were put in the fridge by the previous shift, and he just said, “How do I know? It wasn’t my shift,” and kept watching loud videos on his phone. I was so stressed that I had a panic attack afterwards. The location is a steep 10-minute uphill walk from the bus stop so not ideal if you’re with older family members. And to make things worse, the bathroom got clogged during our stay. We reported it, but it was never fixed, and by the end, we were showering with water around our ankles. Would not stay here again
