A Serene Getaway at The Ibnii Coorg – With Exceptional Hospitality Our stay at The Ibnii, Coorg was nothing short of magical. Nestled deep in the lap of the Western Ghats, the resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and nature, making it an ideal escape from the noise of everyday life. We stayed in the Kopiluwak villa, which was perfect for our family. It comes with a private pool and jacuzzi, making it ideal when traveling with kids. The room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and opened right into serene surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of birds and ending the day in the pool or jacuzzi made our stay incredibly relaxing A special mention goes to Mr. Sudhesh, our guide for the Coffee Trail. His deep knowledge of the Western Ghats and the coffee plantation process added an enriching layer to our experience. He didn’t just guide us — he told stories, shared insights about the region’s biodiversity, and made us appreciate every step we took through the plantation. It’s rare to find someone so passionate and well-informed. The entire staff at The Ibnii deserve immense praise. From the warm welcome at check-in to the meticulous housekeeping and the attentive dining team — everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The hospitality here is genuine, heartfelt, and deeply rooted in care. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, The Ibnii should be at the top of your list. We left refreshed, educated, and with some beautiful memories — all thanks to the wonderful people who make this resort feel like home.
From the smooth buggy rides to the insanely warm and welcoming staff — everything was on point. The way they went out of their way during dinner for every guest was truly remarkable. All over a wonderful experience.
The location of the resort is one of the best, within the woods in literal sense. However when it comes to a hospitable and luxury experience, it lacks it's worth. The waiters had to be asked for everything to be given...they had only one statement "this is chargeable". Feel of hospitality was completely missing for the price paid for one night. Concept of being eco-friendly etc is understood but the staff lacked the sense of serving. They were more like sales people trying to sell coffee powders. The hi tea snack was given like a sample and not good quality. No toiletries in the washroom. TV not functional, worst part was wifi not working from the room. Buggy waiting time was close to 30 mts which we called only once for checkout purposes. Highly priced resort with poor service. Non valued for money.
