The Indus Valley

There are only two hotels in Leh with air conditioning and people coming from North need that because of tolerance to cold climates. In June it was much needed. We had a valley spa room with room and jacuzzi and it was enjoyable. The food is varied and you will find something for every one.

I visited this hotel sometime back with my son and husband. We happened to see this hotel by chance on an aggregator website and contacted the hotel staff to know the location etc. Their representative, Ms. Anu really took charge from there... She helped us define a fantastic itinerary, arranged our ride to and from airport and Nubra valley. The driver, Mr. Nazir, was also exceptional. Because of his driving expertise our journey to Khardungla pass, the Nubra valley, pangong lake and Chang la pass became an easy travel. He also had excellent knowledge of local sites and helped us refine our itinerary. The hotel staff in the kitchen were also very courteous and always served food with a smile. Overall, a very good experience.

This hotel has a wondeful staff!! Starting from the reception, the house keeping and the kitchen, the staff here is very helpful and friendly. Chef Pawan especially, he gets involved with the guests and caters well to their needs with a smiling face. The restuarant team (Shahid,Rohit,Subhojit,chef Harandra) is ever ready to assist and serve. Stazin, Balbeet and the ladies attending the guests are always eager to help and to go out of their way. Big thanks to all at the Indus valley for their hospitality. Keep up the good work. Cheers!!!
