We didn’t stay at the Inn, during this most recent visit. However, we’ve stayed in the past and really enjoyed it. Best of the best accommodations, but comes at a high price. We decided to stay at one of the nearby inns for a little less, during this visit. We did eat at the restaurant again, during this visit. Like the first time, we were blown away by the quality of the courses as well as the service. Thanks to Jeff Labelle for making our second meal here an amazing experience. While this doesn’t take away from the experience, I will provide one critique that the price of the many options for water is unnecessarily high. The rest of the menu is well worth it.
We ate here for our 1st anniversary and it was the perfect way to celebrate. The interior of the dining room was inviting and whimsical. The service was absolutely amazing - we never felt like we were waiting long between courses and our server was very attentive. After our meal, they invited us to visit the kitchen and meet Chef O'Connell which was very cool. As for the food, all the courses were delicious and beautifully plated. Our favorites were the veal trio and the "Apparently a Pear" dessert. As other reviewers pointed out, this is an expensive meal (~$1,000 for 2 people) but was something we were glad to experience.
EXCEPTIONAL service at every level / interaction. It's evident that everyone here loves their role and will make your experience feel special. The attention to detail and commitment to quality is phenomenal. I've been around the world at some exotic locations and venues and the Inn somehow manages to out perform the others while maintaining it's integrity. The food.... yea, just straight awesomeness on so many levels, you can taste the effort and thoughtful sourcing that goes into every meal. This is a bucket list experience.
