We were a bit worried when we read recent reviews before arriving at the inn but our experience was only positive in every way so a little confusing to know if those negative reviews are actually real? I am writing a first review because I think it is important to tell people about the positives of this fantastic place. Our rooms and suites were clean, stylish and comfortable. Air conditioning working and all areas were fresh and cool. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional and the location is second to none. We can't recommend this place highly enough and would not hesitate to stay here again when we are next in Rome!

I booked a Premium room in the main building through Jet2 for a 3 day exploration of Rome with my wife and chose this hotel, specifically because of its high rating, central location and the stylish looking rooms. When we arrived we were informed that our room had been upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. That said, our room was everything we could have hoped for. Situated on the 3rd floor overlooking the street on which the main entrance was on. The room was large, well presented and the décor was in keeping with the style of the hotel. Two floors above us was the roof garden, for breakfast and bar in the evening. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, fruit, pastries, quiche and toast with toppings like egg/mozzarella cheese. with juices, teas and coffee/cappuccino on offer. I mention this, as couldn't find any reference to it anywhere. Some of the reviews mentioned the staff, our experience was a positive one. Staff were friendly and helpful and always greeted us when they saw us. For those that are visiting Rome for the first time, you will find every main tourist attraction from the Vatican City to the Colosseum within a 40 minute stroll. With the likes of Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon less than 20 minutes away. (We pre-booked a guided tour for the Vatican City, which I would recommend as you skip the worst of the queues. The rest, including the Colosseum and outdoor museum I would personally visit unguided, but go early as they get very busy)

We purchased this hotel as part of the Costco travel Europe package from Florence, Rome , and Sorrento . This review is for the Rome location. The location is impeccable as it is a walking distance to the Spanish steps. Kudos to Haji, chef Jamie and Proloy including Diana who welcomed us the 1st night. Everything was great especially Haji and Jamie who went above and beyond every morning for our breakfast. The food and service were great! I would give it 5 stars except for the frustrating situation that happened when we’re were in our first room. The shower was not working, the pressure was extremely weak which was imperative for me so I can take a proper shower due to heat and humidity. Marie the person whom I notified did not do a great job in coordinating the problems I had in our room from fixing the shower to borrowing the iron it took 2 days to the point I had to tell them either fix the problem or move us into a different room in which Marie did , then the new room’s sink in the bathroom is not working it clogged again I reported this and they said to just remove the plug! I was shocked! Luckily Proloy came to bring the iron after I requested from Marie 3x! I told Proloy the situation and he immediately fixed the drain! Kudos to him. I think that the manager or corporate office should reward those employees like Haji, Jamie and Proloy for caring and being attentive by providing excellent customer service and do something to those who don’t care because Guno’s not good for business. Finally, off we go to Sorrento!
