The Inn at Vanessie

An absolutely lovely room. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. I have 2 small suggestions: (1) have decaf coffee available at breakfast; and (2) the shower curtain in our (very large) bathroom was about 3” above the shower curb so the bathroom floor was flooded & required ALL of our towels to sop up the water. That being said, the venue is charming and we’ll definitely return. A great place.

Cozy room with comfortable bed and big television. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Located in an okay area. One room was on ground level next to a street. Wish we knew that the city was doing road construction 200 feet down the road. So much for sleeping in. Not much amenities here. They have a bar and a small restaurant that serves limited food.

For those booking through a third party platform like booking, please be aware of the $30 per day resort fee which is not included & not stated anywhere (you only see the info after you receive confirmation email). If you stay on the first floor, you can hear every footstep of your upstair neighbors. The lobby is closed after 8pm. If you don’t keep your curtain down throughout the day, people walking by can see everything inside (echoing other comments on privacy) I still gave it a 3 star because the manager was accommodating and understanding. The room is big and the interior design is okay (but lights are dim).
