The Island Adults Only

This is my second review because I am so impressed by the staff who make this place awesome! ALSO, I must rate the Taverna Restaurant. It is worth becoming a guest just to eat here and enjoy quality service in a romantic atmosphere and amazing food. Who knew pumpkin soup could taste this good? Service was first class. Limited menu but unlimited quality and first class service.

This is supposed to be 5 star. It may tick all the boxes that a 5 star hotel requires but there is something missing. The hotel is looking its age it’s time for some upgrade things are looking a bit tired. Our room couldn’t be any further from the reception if you tried. Room was clean and spacious with a fridge and safe. Fridge was small and just kept things cold. Glad I had an extension lead as there was only 2 free single plugs and with modern day electric devices that we have they need charging over night. Room had a terrace but the view was Pam trees and gravel, very little sun so not good for sitting out. For the money the room should have been a lot better. Adult only meant the hotel was quit. The gym looked great from the photos but again clean but the equipment needs either updating or repaired and looked after. Stayed just bed and breakfast,you could have half board. Breakfast area was clean and lovely views of the near by beach. Choice of food was good and good quality no complaints there.After all that a nice stay it was ok

Nice hotel. We liked the choice of three pools and the rooms are spread out around the grounds so are quiet. Our junior suite was spacious. The staff are unobtrusive though on the other hand could be faster to serve you in the bar at night. You might get tired of the buffet dinner so suggest going out to try of the many local places as well. We liked having a DJ playing at the main pool during the afternoon but if you didn’t like you could go the other pools or the beach.
