We have visited spa and breakfast on 13.07.25. The spa was great, special thanks to Tatiana for the massage. But the hostess gave us such a hard time 🫣 We have booked spa and breakfast per phone, when we arrived for the breakfast hostess couldn’t find our booking and instead of fixing her colleges mistake she gave us a speech how we should have booked the breakfast, useless to say restaurant was 70% empty so lots of seats, but the speech was already prepared haha. While we were exiting the pool she has asked us if we ordered something at the bar and if we paid… like, come on, when you pay for the spa and the breakfast it means we can pay for the drinks at the bar as well, you don’t harass your guests like this, implying us leaving without paying. All other personnel was really kind and welcoming 🙏🏼, so hostess behavior was really outstanding

I’d like to sum up my recent stay at the hotel. This was our second time staying there, as my wife and I were very impressed with our first visit exactly a year ago. Last year, the service was absolutely outstanding. We were welcomed instantly upon arrival, the hotel was spotless and well-organized, and we were personally escorted to our room by a staff member who explained everything and even helped with our luggage. The room was perfectly clean, and we were greeted with some treats upon entering (which is always a nice touch, especially when you’re paying an outrageous 2500 shekels per night). The pool was clean and spacious, food and drinks were served quickly and accurately, and there were several attentive waiters constantly making sure everything ran smoothly—changing towels instantly, and genuinely giving off the feeling of “you’re the king, and we’re here to give you the best experience possible.” Breakfast was also incredibly rich, with a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, and delicious dishes. This time, I have to say, all of that was simply gone. The service was just “okay,” breakfast was fine but nothing special—just like any regular hotel, lacking the richness it used to have. In our room, I even found hair in the shower (this is supposed to be a five-star hotel, right?). There were no welcome treats at all—not even a lollipop. The food at the pool had noticeably changed; while the menu was the same, trust me, the burger was not the same burger—the patty size and presentation had changed a lot (still tasty, though). The special shakes by the pool cost around 62 shekels, and they don’t even mention that some of them don’t contain alcohol (at least one of them). Why charge 62 shekels for just fruit? At least throw in a shot of arak! We also had dinner at the restaurant (which was very good, to be fair—good plus plus plus). But there’s one experience I simply can’t ignore: while sitting by the pool, there was a mother with what I assume was her 4-year-old son, who she decided didn’t need a swimsuit. The kid sat there with his private parts out for about two hours. I don’t know how many of you enjoy sipping on a shake while a naked child wanders around in front of you, but personally, I’m not a fan. Bottom line—the hotel has become “just another hotel.” Definitely not five stars anymore, maybe four at best. The service has changed the most, and the small details that made the experience special are just not there anymore. Apparently, they’ve changed ownership… shame we didn’t know that before. 🫠 Overall, it’s simply not worth 2500 shekels per night. (Staff is clueless btw..)

. Reception was awful. Friday morning I wanted to book a room and the clueless girl at the reception she does not speak English and started laughing at us. So we left the hotel. I’ll never return here again we booked at the hotel across the street. Plus, she didn’t even honor us. She just kept texting. It was just one hell of an experience. I will never return to this hotel again too bad because it is very beautiful.
