We had an excellent time here (22//7/25) The bar service was quick & welcoming, coupled with a pleasant atmosphere. The full cooked breakfast was a nice surprise & also very nice to eat. All in all a very pleasant experience. The reason the room only got a 4* was unfortunately we had a large temporary chiller outside & it was noisy at times, this however did not taint our experience.
Even though the pub was a little difficult for us, when we go again we will take a different route. The pub is lovely, friendly staff, and even though the menu is a bit limited compared with some the food we had was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended the Lambs liver.
We had a Trio roast dinner with optional Cauliflower Cheese. It was absolutely delicious!! The staff were nice and attentive. All in all, we will be back and we hope you open at Christmas Day because we will definitely book for it.
