The Junei Hotel Kyoto

Excellent services all around. Room was thoughtfully designed and very cozy. Bathtub was peaceful and relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and the rooftop sauna was a pleasant retreat. Massages were also wonderful. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly and helped guide our overall Kyoto experience in a positive manner. I would highly recommend this venue for a stay in Kyoto.

From check-in to check-out, the team went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect—whether it was offering local recommendations or assisting with any requests, their kindness truly made the experience special. One of the standout features was the complimentary mini-bar—such a thoughtful touch! It was stocked with refreshing drinks and snacks, which made relaxing in our stylish, comfortable room even more enjoyable. The attention to detail in the room’s design and amenities added to the overall luxury feel. We visited Kyoto for a friend’s wedding. The hotel is conveniently located. The room is esthetically designed, spacious and very clean. The bed is comfy and we enjoyed the bamboo bathtub during our stay. Shout out to Masa who is knowledgeable and always friendly to give us recommendations or to call for a taxi. Each hotel staff that we met had a smile on their faces. We will remember this Kyoto trip and the Junei hotel stay fondly.
