I left my jacket and scarf in the closet after having to leave suddenly for work - and the staff here were extremely helpful, getting my belonging back to me the same week! Very friendly and helpful - we will be staying here again next time we're in Griffith!
I had a great experience at The Kidman Wayside Inn. The food was delicious, well-presented, and served in generous portions. What truly made the night special was the service from Javier, an Argentine waiter who was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. An absolute legend! Thanks to him, the dinner was even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the outstanding service.
Terrible. No hot water and water was very brown. When I complained to reception they said "sorry we have been having issues with that room and we are waiting for the plumber to fix that issue" but didn't offer any compensation for the $235 room after no one was able to shower. Also booked another room for the same night and was told even though we booked a room with three beds we still had to pay extra for the second and third person. So I was quoted $145 for the second room with three beds but had to pay $30 extra for the two beds that were already part of the room. Didn't make sense to me. Will not be recommending this hotel to the sporting club again. I can see many 5 star reviews but this was not so for us.
