The Kimberly Hotel

I arrived from the countryside with the hush of open fields still echoing in my bones, only to be swept into the rhythm of the city, where the sidewalks sing and the energy crackles like electricity. Tucked into the heart of it all, The Kimberly Hotel became my soft place to land. Though my room didn’t hold city views, the rooftop terrace more than made up for it, breakfast beneath the open sky, coffee in hand, wrapped in a quiet moment above the chaos. Elegant, welcoming, and gently tucked away from the rush, it felt like a pause in all the right places. A beautiful blend of city pulse and soul-full calm :)

My family and I stayed in this hotel in April and I am now obsessed with it. The people who work here are truly experts of customer service. Everyone from bell services to the front desk to the people at the restaurant were kind, helpful, and most of all treated my little six year old daughter like a queen and made her first trip to NYC the most memorable time. I honestly cannot thank them enough for everything they did during our stay. I will absolutely be back. If you love old world/vintage New York charm, this place is perfect. The views from the rooftop restaurant at breakfast are STUNNING. And my daughter spent so much time gazing into their gorgeous 360 fish tank. Truly, this place is a gem.

Over all beautiful hotel. Amazing housekeeping staff. So friendly and thorough. We just feel that some of the front desk staff was unorganized and not as friendly as they could be. We had packages delivered and they couldn’t find it and didn’t feel receptive or helpful. BUT, two young ladies who checked us in on the 30th early afternoon were fantastic. Please commend them for exceptional service that day and the following days. The door staff were fantastic and the young man who carried our bags up was stellar. Bravo. Over all good hotel and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.
