The King's Daughters Inn

This was my first time staying at the King's Daughters. Beautiful property. Room was cozy, immaculate clean and well appointed. Even though it is a much older building, the rooms and amenities were very modern. Love the port wine and truffles as a turn-down service. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I have no complaints and would love to stay here again.

My son was married in Durham in March. We rented the whole inn for the weekend for our family and friends to stay with us, and to host the rehearsal dinner Friday night. We felt lucky to have discovered the Kings Daughters Inn -- a perfect fit. All of the guests loved the inn's charming ambiance, it has the feel of a large, stately, comfortable home. Our rehearsal dinner spanned the first floor, from the dining room to the parlor, with the bar in the sunroom. It was a wonderful setting for our evening together before the wedding. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfasts in the dining room were casual and relaxed and the food delicious. Highest recommendations!

Very nice bed and breakfast located adjacent to Duke's east campus. My first time staying here but I was impressed. Located in a fully renovated old boarding house. Free parking and wifi. Very friendly staff was always attentive and helpful. They even bring port wine and chocolates to your room at night. Complementary breakfast was much appreciated. If you're looking for a different sort of stay while visiting Duke, this is it!
