The king’s head recently held a wedding reception for myself and my wife and I I couldn’t ask for more from Lisa and steve and their team. Everyone worked so hard and made the day very special. The food was excellent and the rooms were lovely also. The pub was decorated to a very high standard and is such an asset to rye and surrounding areas.
Amazing food - chips, garlic bread, duck rolls, beef brisket (in particular). Service with a smile. Lovely outside garden. Decent beers. Couldn't be happier with the stop off we made.
Absolutely top-class, delicious fish n chips 5 minutes from the beach. Nice secluded courtyard which could use a little TLC but wasn’t busy when we came so suited us fine. Attentive, friendly staff and dogs are welcome. Perfect for a sunny afternoon lunch. Large car park.
