Rooms were neat and spacious. Large verity of food options for vegetarian. Limited options for non vegetarian. Food was delicious. All meals included soup, veggies and starter. Freshly made hot dosa was served for breakfast. Tea and coffee with snacks was served in the evening which went so well with the cold and rainy weather.
The Resort: This place is beautiful. 35 acres of greenery with cottages & rooms. The rooms are neat & clean, well organised. Space is huge. The view from the balcony was also amazing. The moment we entered the premises we could hear peacocks calling every few minutes. Also got to see a peacock dancing across the lush green bushes from our balcony. Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast is included. Food was good, the staff has been very helpful & courteous. The Safari: One jungle safari is included as part of the package in JLR. Extra safari can be booked for an additional fee. The guide who drove us around the jungle was very very good. He heard an alarm call from some of the birds/deer in the jungle and promptly stopped the vehicle. After taking a good look into the deep jungle, we spotted the big cat. We managed to get a glimpse of the tiger's face for a minute which was a stroke of luck to be honest as it's usually difficult to spot them during monsoon. The dense green jungle at this time makes it very difficult to spot anything. Nevertheless we did get to see some good birds & animals. Also came across some elephants, one of them almost chased us with a mock threat. Verdict: Excellent resort, lovely spacious rooms, good food, bonfire, amazing safari, what more can you ask for? I am definitely going back to this place.
Stayed here along with friends for a day, checkin was bit delayed, staff are courteous and attentive. Highlight was the safari in which we spotted many animals and birds If your lucky then you can spot tigers. Property is bit dated and old. You can see in the rooms, bathroom and beds are not that comfortable Food was decent and well balanced. Lot of scope for improvement Would recommend it for people looking to spend a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city
