The Lalit, which was once renowned for its excellence, no longer meets expectations for comfort and luxury at this price point. Regrettably, I must advise prospective guests seeking an accommodating experience to consider alternative hotels. I was quite disappointed with the level of hospitality provided; for instance, the extra bed that I requested was broken, and upon inquiry for a replacement, I was informed that all beds were in similarly poor condition. Furthermore, the breakfast offered was subpar and did not meet acceptable standards. Despite the high prices typically associated with a five-star establishment, the quality of the food was merely average. I cannot recommend The Lalit to those who appreciate luxury accommodations.
