The Lallgarh Palace A Heritage Hotel

It's a heritage building converted into a hotel. It's a good place to stay and I find nothing out of order. Rooms are very big with a full size mirror, hot running water, and other amenities. I like the hotel very much.

The Hotel undoubtedly is really good. Spacious rooms with all facilities. I am so disappointed with the food they serve. They charge like a 5 star hotel although the quality of food is not even that of a road side restaurant. Would really request the management to take special care regarding the food.

We stayed here for 4 nights in January 2025, to attend a wedding that was held on the property. Was expensive for what you get, although the actual building itself is spectacular, with interesting historical displays in each hallway. Service was so-so. The room was large but with an awkward layout. No full length mirror in the room. Bathroom lighting was poor and no magnifying mirror - tough for putting on makeup. No black-out curtains on the room's frosted windows (which faced a lit hallway) and so the room was very light at night with no way to darken it. We saw a mouse in the dining room one morning at breakfast! Loud "traditional" music and drumming in the courtyard each night, so if you want an early bedtime, you better bring ear plugs.
