The Lamai Samui

My mother and I had the best time Everything was wonderful and perfect such a clean place to stay. The pools were beautiful. The girls at the check in desk we’re so friendly and gave us an upgrade to a private pool. Our massage was wonderful the ladies there was so beautiful especially the boss lady she made us feel really special. We ate at the plate restaurant breakfast and dinner. The food was magnificent. It was close to perfection and the restaurant was always clean. The service was so friendly. and making us feel like we were Royalty. The pool bar was sensational we were there every day and in the end We didn’t need to ask for drinks they had made them already for us. Every single staff that worked there were always friendly and smiling and looking after us they are such beautiful people. We are coming back next year. Thank you for making our holiday special ♥️

I recently stayed at The Lamai Samui with a friend and had a truly wonderful time! What stood out the most was the incredible staff—so warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They made us feel right at home, like we were part of the family. We stayed in a pool villa and it was worth every penny—super clean, comfortable, and private. The staff took care of us in such a personal and thoughtful way, which made the experience even more special. I also tried the spa and had one of the best massages (and naps!) I've ever had. It was incredibly relaxing. I even got a manicure—something they don’t normally offer, but they kindly did it for me as a favor after I asked. That level of flexibility and kindness really made an impression. The pool was lovely, and there were guest activities too—we especially enjoyed going for a morning run around the area. Breakfast was decent; there’s room for a bit of improvement, but I really liked the bread selection and the hummus. And of course, we loved the Ocean Bar in the evening—that’s what we came for! Ocean breeze, coconut trees, and fresh air... absolutely perfect. Overall, it was excellent value for money and we will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay overall – the service was excellent and the hotel facilities were modern and well maintained. Food and drinks were delicious, though quite expensive for the region. Unfortunately, there were two major downsides: the number of mosquitoes was extreme, even inside the room, which made it hard to relax. Also, while the hotel is by the sea, you can’t swim there as the beach isn’t accessible. Great service and quality, but the mosquitoes and limited beach access were disappointing.
