We stopped by for a birthday meal on a Saturday evening in May and had a wonderful time. The lady behind the counter was really helpful, suggesting menu items and brought us a couple of blankets when we decided to sit outside and catch what remained of the sun. The burger and chicken pie were both excellent and we were so comfortable we stuck around to play some of boardgames they had available - really recommend a visit if you're in the area. Thanks to the team for their hospitality!
Sandford. What a great place and the Lamb Inn is superb. Had a great overnight stay there for an evening event in Crediton, which can be reached on foot by way of an entirety off-road rural footpath. Can’t wait to stay at the Lamb Inn again.
It's like stepping back in time. Stone walls, wooden beams , log stove and a pint and a pie please. It's a time warp and it's a wonderful experience. Local people serving up local produce, what a novelty in our fast food, plastic world. Take the time to enjoy it.
