The Landmark Hotel

Had a fantastic stay at the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. My room was spotless, very comfortable, and had a stunning view overlooking the water and the docked boats — a real highlight! Great value for money in what turned out to be a surprisingly lively and fun town. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

We had my uncles funeral reception at the landmark. Fine clean property in the water front of lovely carrick on Shannon. There was a large group looked after well, the food was nice and all came out hot and in sync. The dessert particularly nice. We did not stay in the hotel, but would recommend for food and beverage events.

I really wish I could give this beautiful hotel a higher rating, it’s location and impressive. Building are very compelling to come and visit, however, the staff are lacking in the hospitality you would expect at such an establishment. They have a lackluster attitude from the front desk to the staff in the restaurant where the service leaves much to be desired. I have actually come back to this hotel more than once just to give them another try to win back my patronage, and unfortunately, the second time I returned was worse than the first.
