The Landmark Hotel & SPA Leisure Club Dundee By Sunday

After an issue with our booking, Claire at reception was fantastic making sure that my parents were able to be comfortable in a room that was not an accessible room. But later, after checking with the other booking was able to move them into the accessible room. She was also super helpful in guiding us round some roadworks when the roundabout outside the hotel was unexpectedly closed and we were late for our dinner reservation. She very kindly asked if the kitchen staff could stay to help us out, which they did (thank you team). The food was delicious. I had your salmon and it was perfect. My only improvement was that the hot water for the bath was a little tepid. Small issue, it certainly would not discourage me from coming back or recommending it. I would recommend just for the staff alone, however, the rooms are clean and spacious. The rooms were super comfy and really clean.

My first time here, I was late arriving and I must admit I didn’t feel that warm welcome I was expecting from the receptionist especially when I have never stayed before. The whole pay for parking from an app when you’ve just completed a 5.5hr journey I don’t really want to stand in reception trying to sort an app out to pay for the parking. The rooms were comfortable and had space but the bathroom I would say was a little grimy and it was an extremely tight fit where the toilet was situated. I was told breakfast times had changed and I would need to pay for breakfast in the morning if I wanted it. When leaving the hotel reception was unable to provide me with an invoice as the system was new and not working, but they would get accounts to send one I’m still waiting 24hours on. I didn’t really have time to look around but seems to be a large complex with a health spa.

A genuinely beautiful hotel! Rooms, reception, leisure suite and bar were all wonderfully decorated. We had dinner and it was very nice as well. Good prices for drinks and the staff were really polite. The only problem was breakfast. Everything was nearly empty. All tables were very dirty upon coming in at 9pm. Definitely a member of staff or 2 more needed as 2 was not enough. Many people seemed to be just standing about waiting for things to be topped up or had to ask. Sausages were lukewarm and sitting in fat. I would put it down to management not staffing properly. For the size of the breakfast area, 4 people would be suffice and not the best selection All in all, the hotel was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast just needs more attention
