Booked afternoon tea for a treat for our mother and daughter weekend away. Amazing experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and loved that we were given two options for seating. (The tables are nicely separated unlike other establishments were you feel like you are packed in like cattle) Louis our server was warm, friendly and attentive, explaining the afternoon tea menu and tea selection to us) We felt relaxed as soon as we sat down with the delightful sounds of the pianist who played throughout our sitting). The selection of sandwiches were fresh and tasty and extra sandwiches were offered without needing to ask for them. There was no issue with swapping sandwiches out due to personal taste) The sweets and pastries were lovely and delicate without being sickly sweet. Then it was time for the scones,plain and lavender served with generous amounts of Clotted Cream, lemon curd and raspberry jam.. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured to leave. Would recommend to anyone as a special treat- One of the best afternoon teas in London. Thanks again to Louis for making out visit extra special.

This fabulous hotel gets a 5 Star review because of the world class fine dining experience at their restaurants. The food and drink they serve are of a top quality that is hard to find with no expenses spared. Chef must be top notch to have the finesses for presentation, style and panache. The staff including Rodica, Charlene, Bella & Ruziel were impeccably trained and nothing was too much for them. We stayed for 3 nights and welcomed by Rupert and his excellent doormen colleagues. However, the hotel was not quite up to speed with their rooms. They can transform the overall experience of guests by simply having thorough spot checks on their rooms, especially bathrooms, before releasing them to avoid disappointments. They more than made up for this by giving us an upgrade and lovely birthday cake. Thank you! Another suggestion would be to have the room key needed to operate the lift for better security. Overall a great experience with fine dining being the clear winner for this beautiful hotel.

Absolutely stunning from start to finish. We stayed at this iconic hotel for a birthday celebration and were treated like royalty. The staff at reception gave us a cheeky upgrade, and the suite was gorgeous—elegantly decorated with a spacious marble bathroom that felt truly luxurious. To top it all off, we were surprised with a birthday cake in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. A memorable stay in every way—luxury, service, and attention to detail all on point.
