The Lane Retreat

What a wonderful stay! Just two hours from Sydney, we found The Lane Retreat to be the perfect getaway, even for just one night. The place is so peaceful and beautiful, with such thoughtful design that you instantly feel at home. Everyone was so welcoming, and the Pantry was wonderful – I loved all the gifts you have for sale. I really hope to come back soon.

My mum and I recently enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful short holiday the Lane Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the calm and serene atmosphere of the place. Our lake view room was absolutely immaculate and truly offered the best view imaginable – it was a joy to wake up to each morning. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the generous breakfast provisions and the ample tea and coffee supplies. A highlight was definitely sipping on the complimentary Bimbadgen wine while taking in the stunning scenery. The staff at the pantry were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning our return when the weather warms up, so we can explore the nearby wineries. This spot is a definite must for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

The Lane Retreat is truly the most beautiful place in Hunter Valley! We stayed here this weekend for our babymoon and were blown away by the hospitality, spotless apartment, and delicious breakfast. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from our apartment – perfect for enjoying peaceful sunrises and stunning sunsets. And don’t be surprised if you spot a lot of kangaroos around – it’s all part of the magic! Highly recommend this unforgettable escape.
