Beautiful, relatively new hotel with gorgeous, comfortable, and spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, excellent lighting (pet peeve with London House, where I have typically stayed, is how dark the rooms are and how impossible it is to work in them), and kind staff. The color scheme is elegant, the bar has great drinks. Only surprise was no robes in the room and location isn’t the most exciting. It’s also pricey for a four star hotel. But overall a lovely stay.

I was so fortunate to find a hotel with such a great location, well kept and incredible service! We’ve tried a few hotels in this area while moving our daughter in and out of college. Many have a great location, good bones but a poorly kept hotel. Very few have the service, luxury and incredible rooms like LaSalle. The beds, the rooms, the bathrooms were all luxurious and renovated and the 21st floor lobby bar felt like such a private space with incredible service. The comfort and luxury at LaSalle is so welcoming after a day of exploring Chicago but one of our favorite parts was the friendly smile and familiar face of Mr. Stan greeting us throughout our stay! He takes note of his guests and pays attention to detail! This hotel was a splurge for us but didn’t disappoint. I hope to be back soon!

The LaSalle Chicago is a decent hotel, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations, especially compared to other Autograph Collection properties I’ve stayed at. The service was fine, but nothing above and beyond. The room was okay at a first glance as you can see from my video, though there were noticeable signs of wear and tear, and the AC was quite loud. The bathroom had decent water pressure, but the amenities felt underwhelming. We were told we got upgraded with my Platinum Elite Bonvoy membership to a room with a better view, the view was horrible, blocked by some mundane buildings. For the price I paid (over $400 a night, excluding taxes and fees), I expected better service, more updated amenities, and a more polished room experience. That said, the location was convenient, right in the heart of the city.
