The Ledges is amazing!! Everything you need is right there and the view is amazing!! Amy and Nick are top notch. Love having a riverside fire each night. The rain shower is amazing. My daughter loves the pool. I have stayed in four of the cottages over the years and will keep coming back. Love it there!!!!

I don’t even want to leave a review because I feel like I found a hidden gem that I want to keep all to myself! The cottage was clean, bright, and absolutely adorable (we stayed in the sparrow cottage). Hosts were very responsive to texts and emails. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and just kept saying “we have to come back with the kids!” We used the pool and kayaks which were great amenities. It’s only about a mile walk to all the great shops and restaurants in town, right on the river with a view of Boldt Castle. We had a very hard time leaving.

The View was a 5+! And the owner also earned high marks for his communication skills. The cabin was lovely and well-appointed, with everything you would need for a fun getaway. They even had a selection of board games. The bathroom had plenty of fluffy towels and the bed was comfortable although smaller than what we’re used to (we have a King at home) Unfortunately there were some issues that were less than ideal. The main issue was accessibility. I had booked the reservation based on the website description that says “Suitable for seniors or individuals with limited mobility. Wheelchair accessible.” I have bone on bone arthritis in both knees so accessibility is always our main concern. I did ask about the entrance before we booked and was assured there was “just 1 small step”. As even that can be an issue, we brought our own step to make it easier. From what we observed, there were No cabins that could have been considered wheelchair accessible, so I think that description should be removed from the website. The floor of the cottage we stayed in had a definite slope to it – enough to feel as you walked across the floor. Not a deal-breaker but something to be aware of for anyone with stability issues. The grounds were lovely, with lots of places to sit (again, not accessible except by stairs) and several fire rings with wood provided. It really is a lovely place – just not the best for anyone with mobility issues.
