I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Leela Palace, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was impeccable. The staff were warm, courteous, and attentive to every detail, ensuring a seamless and luxurious stay. The property itself is stunning — an architectural masterpiece that blends traditional elegance with modern comfort. My room was beautifully appointed, with exquisite decor, top-notch amenities, and a view that was simply breathtaking. Dining at The Leela was a culinary delight, with every meal crafted to perfection. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, and the service was consistently excellent. What truly stood out was the personalized attention and care provided by the team. It’s rare to find such a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Thank you to everyone at The Leela Palace for making my stay so special. I look forward to returning and highly recommend this palace of hospitality to anyone seeking an extraordinary stay
I recently went The Library restaurant at The Leela hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was elegant, but what truly stole the show was the exceptional food and impeccable service. Their pizza was hands-down the best I've had in a while - perfectly cooked crust, flavorful toppings, and generous portions. The drinks menu was equally impressive, with expertly crafted cocktails that complemented the meal perfectly. If you're looking for a great dining experience in a sophisticated setting, look no further than The Library at The Leela. Highly recommended!
I usually stay at the Marriott whenever I visit Hyderabad, but this time I decided to try something new, especially after having a wonderful stay at Leela Palace in Udaipur. Unfortunately, my experience at The Leela Hyderabad fell far short of expectations. Here's a detailed review: The Good: Nice rooms: Spacious, modern, and well-designed. Prime location: Centrally located, with easy access to the city. Swimming pool: The rooftop pool is visually appealing. Gym: Well-equipped and clean. The Not-So-Good: Check-in and Front Desk Service: Despite a welcome drink being part of the reservation, not even water was offered until requested. Staff at the front desk appeared inexperienced and lacked basic hospitality training. On the third day, I requested adjacent rooms as my family joined me. I was told the room would be ready in 30 minutes, but no one followed up. I returned around 6 PM only to realize I had to go back to the desk and chase down the keys myself. Swimming Pool Safety: The rooftop pool is exposed to nearby buildings—no privacy. No anti-skid flooring, which is a safety concern. My child slipped and bruised himself. When asked, staff mentioned anti-skid mats are “being planned.” Pool is not temperature-controlled. Food & Dining: Very poor options for those with food allergies or dietary restrictions. Breakfast had very limited variety—no continental options, and nearly everything contained dairy (even the sausages). My son, who has allergies, ended up eating only plain dosa. Restaurant staff seemed unsure and slow, and chefs were unaccommodating. Lunch and dinner menu is extensive but lacks authenticity and allergy-friendly alternatives. Buffet-menu hybrid was confusing, and no one explained how it worked unless asked. Housekeeping: One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a so-called 5-star property. AC vents were dusty, and floor rugs were shedding. After my kids made a bit of a mess, a housekeeper arrived with just a small towel and did a very poor job. Bathrooms were often left incomplete—missing tissue, floor mats, lotions, etc. Final Verdict: Aside from the location and room design, The Leela Hyderabad has a long way to go in terms of service, professionalism, and overall guest experience. The lack of training among staff, poor housekeeping, unsafe pool, and limited dining options were all disappointing—especially from a brand like Leela. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and works toward improvements.
