The staff were incredibly friendly. It's situated right next to a park. Plus, there are many restaurants nearby. The hot pot restaurant in the hotel was decent; the kids enjoyed it because of the dessert. The room is spacious and tidy. It's perfect for a hot bath followed by a shower. Considering the price we paid, it was absolutely worth it. I would definitely love to return!!!

Had an amazing experience at The Lees Hotel. Hotel is very clean and well kept. We ran into issues with the t.v remote and shower. The staff took care of both issues immediately. They even gifted us complimentary desserts and upgraded our room in the middle of our stay. The staff are very attentive. Always greeting you when you enter and leave the hotel. The staff are also very knowledgeable with the city to recommend places for tourist like us. Highly recommended hotel.

We booked two Superior Double rooms at The Lees Hotel in March 2025 for a group of four, including our parents, and overall, it was a pleasant stay with some notable highlights and a minor frustration. This is a classic, old-school hotel that exudes a certain charm. The lobby features three public phone booths, and the rooms still use traditional keys rather than keycards. The wooden flooring throughout adds an elegant touch. The rooms themselves were a standout—spacious and well-equipped with powerful air conditioning that we could adjust to our liking. The bathrooms were equally roomy, featuring both a bathtub and a standing shower. A thoughtful detail was the small chair next to the sink, perfect for applying makeup. While the space was impressive, the water pressure in both the toilet flush and the showerhead could use a boost. Breakfast was served on the second floor at the hotel’s hotpot restaurant, offering a buffet-style spread. The selection wasn’t extensive, but I was surprised to find hotpot on the menu. The broth was a Japanese kombu base, accompanied by a variety of vegetables and noodles to choose from. Unlimited soft drinks were a nice bonus. One issue, however, left me puzzled and a bit disappointed. Before checking in, I reserved a table at the hotel’s third-floor Cantonese restaurant. When I later contacted the hotel through the booking platform to confirm details, they promptly relayed the restaurant’s response to me. But when I asked them to pass a message back to the restaurant, they refused to assist, despite having facilitated communication earlier. Their attitude wasn’t rude, but the inconsistency was confusing and frustrating for a hotel-managed dining venue. All in all, The Lees Hotel offers a comfortable and spacious stay with a touch of vintage elegance, complemented by an unexpected hotpot breakfast. While there’s room for improvement in water pressure and staff coordination, it’s a solid choice for travelers seeking a classic experience.
