I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The hotel is very well organized and clean. Although the rooms are a bit small, the beautiful view more than makes up for it. Breakfast was excellent, the food was well-prepared, tasty, and served quickly. I would definitely stay here again!
Adorable hotel. Very close to everything in Dublin, but not right on top of it. This is a compact city hotel and in the standard British Isles tradition the rooms are very small. I've stayed in smaller - at least there is a little desk and seating space. I found the interior of this entire place to be thoughtfully designed and beautiful. Clever mismatches of materials and decoration came together to create an elegant, artsy experience. Check the pictures... if that's your vibe, this place delivers. I particularly appreciated the multiple touches of original art in the rooms, with nameplates for the artists, whom I assume are local. Well done, Leinster. If I were to stay again (prob won't be back in Dublin for work forever), I would definitely get a larger room class if I could. It was just too tiny for us, which isn't a gripe (they have room sizes published and you can solve this by paying for a bigger room if you prefer) - just a note for travelers who may not have been in city hotels in this region before.
The rooms look very attractive on the website but in reality are impractical for two people staying for a long weekend. We stayed in a Corner Room - the room is not as large as it appears in the photos, the space between the end of the bed and the wall is very narrow (one person at a time) and there is very little storage for clothes (the drawers unit was more than 50% occupied by minibar paraphernalia, there was no wardrobe as such just an exposed hanging space with four hangers) and nowhere to put the bags you cannot get rid of as a consequence. The bathroom was tiny we could not both be in it at the same time. Also this is the first place we have stayed in where we were not shown to the room or offered help with luggage (there were three people behind the desk when we checked on and all they did was take our payment and give us the key, no assistance ot information offered about the hotel or the city). We are glad we did not stay longer it was not an easy place to stay in or enjoy. That said the Jean Georges restaurant food and service was good but it seemed to us that the level of management attention and training was much better than in the hotel itself, perhaps its a separate franchise.
