Perfect location in central Athens. Great view from the roof top bar/breakfast area. Only took 20 minutes to walk to the acropolis and the other main areas are all on the way. Weird thing to say but the hotel smells lovely! And the staff were extremely helpful. Definitely recommend!
Lekka hotel location is prime and rooms are very nice. Breakfast was good with a nice view on the rooftop. I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 because of an issue we encountered upon arrival. Although we had reserved an extra night to ensure we’d have a room ready when we arrived at 9:00 AM—after a 15-hour flight—we were told our reservation had been canceled due to a "no-show" on the previous night. We intentionally booked the extra night knowing we couldn’t check in that early otherwise, and we’ve done this at many other hotels without any problems. However, when we explained this to the front desk, we were told it was our responsibility to notify the hotel of our arrival time and that it was our fault no room was available. Interestingly, the staff mentioned they were expecting us, yet we never received any communication from the hotel asking about our whereabouts or confirming our plans. Overall, the stay was good once we got checked in, but that initial experience was disappointing and could have been handled with more flexibility and better communication.
The hotel has a great location near the center of Athens, with a lovely view of the Acropolis and a good breakfast. We were excited to receive an upgrade to a standard room, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was a major letdown. The room had used tissues, hair on the bed, and even leftover medication from a previous guest under the bed. I had read earlier reviews mentioning cleanliness issues and hoped those were isolated incidents—but sadly, our experience confirmed those concerns. This level of hygiene is not what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. It’s a shame because the location and staff potential are there, but the lack of cleanliness seriously impacts the overall quality.
