The Leo Grand

Would recommend this hotel to EVERYONE. Not only are the rooms gorgeous, clean, impeccably decorated, and very comfortable, but the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. On our first night there we were shown around our room and amenities by the staff and they clearly explained everything available to us. The beds were exceedingly comfortable and the towels and bathrobes were lush and comfy. We had an excellent view from our window of St. Peter’s church. The minibar was consistently stocked with FREE goods and we also had a complimentary bottle of wine. The staff were able to accommodate our every need- from an ironing board to stamps for our postcards to recommendations around the hotel. The location is convenient to all of the sights but is quiet and comfortable. Overall, very very happy with our stay!

My first time in Vienna and my stay at the Leo Grand was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I had booked another hotel online and upon arrival, it was awful. In a last minute decision, I canceled that reservation and looked for something else. I found the LEO GRAND! And from the second I walked in, I was amazed. The staff were so helpful and understanding. I was put in one of the suites. The room was gorgeously decorated, clean, the bathroom was just beautiful with blue towels, a private toilet room, soaking tub, bathrobes and slippers if needed. The mini bar was included and fresh water was replenished every day. Also, a few minutes after getting into the room, a bottle of wine, some macaroons, and a personally handwritten welcome note was delivered to the room by one of the staff!! The restaurant was just gorgeous and the food was delicious. The waiters were wonderful. The owners have done a fantastic job of incorporating the old building with new, stylish upgrades! Location is perfect to get to many attractions on foot and the area felt safe and comfortable! Highly, highly recommended and hope to return someday! Thank you for making my trip one I will treasure!

From the smooth and courteous check in the staff at the Leo Grand made our stay most pleasurable. A fantastic central location in a historic building with a quirky vibe without detracting from the original features of the building. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented, ditto dinner. The room had excellent aircon which was a boon in the hot weather. The bed and bedding were comfortable, tasteful and luxurious. The minibar, coffee machine and water were complimentary and helped to make the room a little sanctuary when returning from our museum visits. The central and safe location of this hotel made our 4 day stay perfect. Close to numerous shops, restaurants and St Stephan cathedral but with little traffic it was perfect. What really made it for us was the staff, incredibly helpful and kind with great personalities. Thank you and seeing as we didn't manage to see everything we wanted they will be a first choice on our return to Vienna.
