The Leslie Executive Hotel

Perfect hotel for a short stay in Blantyre. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are lovely and welcoming. There is a nice lounge with self-service bar to relax in during the evenings. Walkable to QECH for those working there, and located on a safe road.

Wow .. most accommodating , friendly helpful staff .. always go out of there way to help you and super friendly.. Food is fantastic and the home made bread and muffins is iconic.. We always look forward to staying here and it makes the toughest day feel less tough .. Thank you so much to all our friendly friends here.......

I initially chose The Leslie because of its proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and its airport service. It had been 16 years since I was last in Malawi and I never expected to find a place like this anywhere in the country! This is a beautiful property with a staff that gives 5-star service from Reception to the Dining Room to the Owner. I had a lot of special requests during my visit and every request was granted. I got sick while I was there and the owner delivered medication for me! I was never made to feel like I was asking too much. The rooms and the grounds are beautifully kept. Each room is spacious and has a private mini-garden with patio. I stayed in two different rooms for a total of four nights. The mattresses were very comfortable and had gorgeous mosquito netting completely covering the beds along with very efficient air conditioning. The food is outstanding. Breakfast is extensive. I highly recommend you plan to eat at the hotel as often as possible and try the chambo and chips – best ever! I don’t know how they manage to run such a first-class establishment and cater to your every need but they do!
