We had a lovely stay at The Lighthouse in Frome. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout our visit. The rooms have a unique charm – thoughtfully decorated with great interiors that really stand out from the usual hotel style. It’s just a short drive to the town centre, so we could explore Frome easily and still enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The green space around the hotel is beautiful – perfect for morning or evening walks. Breakfast was standard but fresh and nicely presented. Overall, it was a calm and refreshing stay. Would happily come back again!
Excellent place to stay. Everything looks brand new and very clean. No expense had to spared as all furnishings looked expensive and were very nice. The location was stunning set in acres of gardens and woodlands. A perfect setting if you like to quiet walks and relaxing locations.
What an absolutely delightful hotel. We only stayed 1 night, but could have easily stayed longer. We had a family room, which was fantastic in size, comfort and cleanliness. Tastefully decorated and perfect for us after a long day travelling and exploring. The breakfast was delicious, and very generous, and the lady who assisted us was a perfect host. If we are visiting the area again we will be certain to book the Lighthouse.
