Absolutely great hotel. Excellent room very well equipped. All guest needs have been thought out and anticipated. I am so experienced traveller - I've stayed in many rooms; I know when I find somewhere good. clean, great shower, great bed, attentive reception, bath robes, plenty of towels, complimentary drinks, fridge, yeah. I'm well satisfied. For the price I paid, it's a great deal.

It took a while for me to be able to express my disappointment as all my thoughts and emotions was towards something very important but now I’m ready to chare my experience with this Hotel. Last summer my partner and I made a reservation at The Lime as we were attending a very close friend’ wedding and we used Booking.com which gives the option of free cancellation. Has we had to upgrade the room we made the adjustment over the phone with the receptionist which in that moment changes the policy about the cancellation fee. Of course we don’t ask anything about it as we had a wedding to attend. Soon after, probably a week later, circumstances from our end changed and a serious health problem followed by an unexpected surgery suddenly happened so we had to cancel the wedding and the reservation with it.The manager or The Lime, and Italian man that I don’t remember the name didn’t accept the reason we had cancel the room and charged us a fee of 30% of the cost of the room. When I tried to explain him the situation i felt a deep sense of disappointment about his lack of sensitivity when he asked me: did you ever book an hotel before? If you did you should know, This is the policy! I really hope, us sharing our experience with this hotel can help other customers and suggest to ready the small prints to avoid any disappointment and be charged unfairly.
