The Lince Nordeste

I spent a week at The Lince and it was absolutely amazing! The hotel has everything you could need: a pool, a gym, a sauna, and even massages. The breakfast was fantastic, with unlimited options and plant-based milk available. The staff was exceptional, and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. In the evening, you could even have a nice soup delivered right to your room, which was a perfect touch. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay

The room itself was lovely—clean, spacious, and with a massive 2x2m bed that was extremely comfortable. However, as a 4-star hotel, I found it a bit odd that the room provided paper cups for tea. A small but surprising detail that detracted from the otherwise high standard. Swimming pool and sauna are in same room- when you try to relax in sauna/steam bath it is really impossible with noisy screaming kids- when renovating it consider making a separate entrance or something of this kind. Finnish sauna was currently not working, they wait for some parts to be shipped from mainland- please explicitly indicate that on your website and on booking.com until it is repaired so that guests are aware as some may be booking your hotel exactly because of availability of finish sauna. One small suggestion on breakfast: the coffee machine is somewhat hidden, making it unclear that coffee is available to be ordered. Since you provide a printed menu with three egg options to choose from, perhaps consider enlarging the paper slightly and adding a note to let guests know they can also request coffee. A simple line like "Please let us know your coffee preference" would make the experience feel more seamless and informative. You have a lot of potential as a unique hotel in Nordeste, especially given that you’re the only one in the area. The sea-washed wood picture frames showcasing sustainable craftsmanship are a beautiful touch, and you clearly value local artistry, but you could be promoting yourselves as a more sustainable destination. Consider highlighting the locally produced food you offer (and perhaps reevaluating the use of industrial frozen bread) and weaving sustainability into your branding. You could also take advantage of the beautiful setting by offering activities like morning yoga sessions in the patio behind the pool, a morning run to the lighthouse, or a workout in the garden. You have massive potential here to offer guests a truly enriching experience that connects them with nature and local culture – just make sure to showcase it!

The place is very nice, amazing view. Small interior swimming pool hot and useful. Sauna out or order. Our large apartment smelled really really musty. The kitchen could be better equipped (only 3 glasses for an apartment for 4 people!). The breakfast is very good quality.
