The Lince Santa Clara

We were just passing through town and were pleasantly surprised to discover that the monastery was a hotel. Very beautiful, the decor was gorgeous. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, they suggested we go to the bar, and once again, a wonderful surprise! The bartender Carlo, was extremely professional and friendly. He introduced us the menu and to unique cocktails! We will definitely return to stay and explore this beautiful hotel.

The most lovely hotel I have ever stayed in! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we were in Vila Do Conde. When they casually learned about the anniversary, they put champagne (real, not sect), truffles and fresh fruit! They upgraded us to a larger room with a window open to the river and sea. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing, Freshly cooked egg, no waste...simply wonderful! We will visit there again! It sits atop a hill with an very cool aqueduct nearby.

It's an incredible experience to stay in this historical heritage site. It is truly a striking monument, as we are surrounded by the constant presence of the robust granite stone walls and arches. The staff are very friendly, everyone is careful, they look after the guest's wellbeing and the cleanliness is impeccable. Also worth mentioning is the breakfast, which is very good. Congratulations to all the staff who work tirelessly to maintain the quality of this hotel.
