Had a really tasty meal for two adults and two children. A good menu for children and adults alike. Very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. Basket meals available if you do not want too big a portion. The aroma from the kitchen as our food was being prepared certainly set the taste buds going. Would certainly recommend as a place to dine. Thank you!
Such a warm and welcoming hotel! My thanks to all the staff who were really kind and helpful during our stay. The Linton Hotel is an attractive building in a beautiful setting. Our room had lovely views and I think they all do by the look of it. There is a very cosy, old fashioned (in a good way) feel to the place and it makes an excellent base for exploring this wonderful area - there is a very good bus service from outside the hotel and a train station 7 or 8 minutes walk away. There is free car parking outside the hotel. The Scottish breakfasts were generous and delicious. We stayed three nights but I felt I could happily stay forever.
Delicious meal in the Linton Hotel. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Drinks also reasonably priced. The woman serving was so friendly and helpful, an asset to the hotel. Have been before but would definitely go back and recommend it to people.
