We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Lion. What an incredible day! The service we received initially when booking our wedding from Louise Smith was excellent, her knowledge and experience helped us with our planning. On the day of the wedding, the staff were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. We would like to thank in particular Tia, Chloe and Ali for all their efforts on the day. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The accommodation was beautiful, thank you Dawn for all your efforts too. We would highly recommend The Lion for your wedding venue.
My husband and I were attending a wedding nearby and came for dinner last weekend, it was fantastic! All the food was fresh and was local to the area and of a very high quality! I loved my Hake fillet main, it was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and attentive also. We loved the food so much we returned for breakfast the next day. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
Have been here twice for food, and a few times more just for drinks. Everything is top quality here. The food is excellent, with a really good choice, and the service is brilliant. Will be back soon. Haven't tried any of the rooms.
