Went for Sunday lunch which is lovely home cooked food, with a choice of meats. The food is hot and plentiful and the desserts are also home cooked and delicious. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The building itself is spacious but in need of some TLC.Z
Phenomenal food. Good old fashioned Englush cooking just like your mum and grandmother made. Homemade puddings with custard heavenly. Staff are senior citizens but my God do they work hard. Everything is spotless and they are so welcoming. Best place for good old fashioned English food and there are not many of them about these days. Well done.
It is a lovely, quaint and comfortable place in a historic and protected building of 200 years+. The gentleman who is the owner and person who greeted me was such a friendly man.
